This is my new find for nail technicians or nails enthusiastic to be able to change their gel nail easily every week or even every 3 days!
Provided that you can always use an overlay to only change nail art every week without damage your natural nails, it's still a lot (for 'lazy' professionals) or you need to own an E-file (for non-professionals).
I have been searching for a peelable base coat for a long time, there was a brand "Minireal" from Japan that carries a peelable base coat, but it is nowhere to be found in the US and as you all know, shipping nail gel/polish is almost impossible. Then I saw this "weekly" gel from "HOMEI", it is also a Japanese brand but it is available in the US (through Marie Beauty Supply). It is supposed to be a gel for DIYers to do nails at home without the hassle of taking off gels by themselves. It comes in many colors, but for our purpose, just the clear is good enough. You can also buy other colors if you only want a single color or want to use it as a colored base-coat.
To verify my findings, I have tried it and it can be peeled off very well without taking off your natural nail beds.
